Hi, I'm Bohdan. I'm a Production Engineer based in London, currently working at Meta. Before this, I spent time writing software at Lyft and Fiverr. Originally, I studied chemistry and microbiology at university, fully intending to build a career in the natural sciences. But after realizing how hard it is to actually earn a crust in a lab, I pivoted to my other lifelong interest: computers. It turned out to be the right call. Check out my CV →

Outside of my day job, I'm just someone who loves to learn and build things. I spend a lot of my free time building side products, writing software, and messing around with IoT hardware like ESP32s. On the intellectual side, I'm fascinated by how humans understand the world. That curiosity usually keeps me buried in a good book, exploring rabbit holes across philosophy, linguistics, cognitive science, and history.
I built this site to have my own quiet corner of the internet to publish my writing. You'll find thoughts and notes on whatever happens to pique my interest at the moment - usually a mix of computer science, philosophy, and history. It's also where I share my photography from my travels. And when I'm not coding, reading, or traveling, I'm probably just trying to make a dent in a massive backlog of movies and TV shows.
